This week on the show it's a fall spectacular!  We'll take you to the city's biggest craft brew fest in Ravenswood for Oktoberfestiversary hosted by Dovetail and Begyle Brewery...we'll head to the 38th annual Apple Fest in Lincoln Square, check out one of the suburbs biggest pumpkin patches at Sonny Acres for their fall festival in West Chicago, tell you about the Witcher in concert at the Auditorium Theatre and visit Second City's new improv show!

First up, it's Oktoberfestiversary on October 11th and 12th - featuring some of Chicago's best beers from Begyle and Dovetail Brewing.  Keven Cary from Begyle Brewing joins us to talk about the 13th anniversary of this brew-tastic festival with food trucks, live music and of course lots of beer - with a portion of the proceeds going to the Friendship Center.  Info: oktoberfestiversary.com 

Then we head to Lincoln Square for the 38th annual Apple Fest October 3rd-5th!  Think apple donuts, apple cider, apple pie - even apple cocktails and apple tamales for this three day event that also hosts a pet parade on Saturday! Lincoln Square/Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce President Rudy Flores joins me to talk about this amazing festival that features local food vendors, locally produced goods and local farmers! Next, we head west to Sonny Acres Farm where they have their fall festival going on right now!  You can tour the haunted barn, hit the corn maze, and pick the perfect pumpkin with your whole family. Next, the bewitching hour has arrived at the Auditorium Theatre with "The Witcher Live in Concert" - on October 3rd - conducted by the incomparable and award winning Heidi Joosten.
