This week on the show – an in-person visit with the cast of Hadestown at the National Hellenic Museum, Greg Goya at the Chicago Botanic Garden, Celebrity Chef Adrianne Salvo prepares a Chicago themed menu as “City Cruises Live” debuts, Trinity Irish Dance Company kicks off its 35th anniversary season at the Museum of Contemporary Art and it’s Vintage Store Day in Chicago!

 

First up, we visit with the cast of Hadestown at the National Hellenic Museum in Chicago.  Jaylon C. Crump (Hermes), Katelyn Crall (Fate), and Julia Schick (Swing/Dance Captain) sat down with me to talk about the depths of mythology, the historical significance and the themes of Hadestown that resonate today themes resonate today in this Tony and Grammy award winning musical.
