This week on the show we visit with two local theatre groups - one in Chicago, one in the northern suburbs, then introduce you to APIDA arts and tell you how you can be a part of their Halloween spectacular. First up, the newly renovated Red Twist Theatre in Edgewater and the incredible production of "the Normal Heart". We'll visit with co-artistic Director Dusty Brown to talk about this must see performance playing through September 29th. Then, we'll head up north to Glenview to the Oil Lamp Theatre. We'll chat with executive Director Jay Patschuka about two productions they have going on this fall - First Date and the old time radio play of the Christmas Carol returns. And finally, we'll introduce you to Mia Park, the executive director of APIDA arts and tell you how you can get your submissions in for their Halloween spooktacular in October!
