This week on the show, Andrea chats with legendary Tony/Emmy award winning actress Laurie Metcalf who comes home to the theatre she co-founded – the Steppenwolf - to star in Little Bear Ridge Road.  Laurie talks about her incredibly moving performance, returning home to Chicago and her award winning roles in “Roseanne”, “The Conners” & on Broadway!  Then, we head to the Porchlight Theatre to talk to co-artistic Director Michael Weber about “Broadway in your Backyard” and their upcoming 30th anniversary gala this fall! Finally, we head to Skokie to talk to Director Sasha Gerritson about “Carousel” at the Northshore Center for the performing Arts in Skokie.
