Comedian, actor, director, producer, content creator, filmmaker, and author KevOnStage joined host Jerrilyn Lake aka Indeskribeabull and Lynee’ Monae. KevOnStage was on to promote his new book, Successful Failure: Lessons Learned Flat on My Face out on July 23rd. Kev spoke about his ability to learn from his mistakes and failures. He also looked at his failures differently and turned them into successes. Jerrilyn and Lynee’ gave KevOnStage his flowers for all of his extraordinary accomplishments. But Kev never stops to rest on his laurels because the next project is coming. Kev spoke about promoting his book differently than his last book. Before Zuri talked about what it means to be an intimacy coordinator, they talked about What Happened. They spoke about to the controversy surrounding Nelly and Ashanti and people calling Ashanti a single married mother. Nelly told Ashanti on their new reality show “We Belong Together,” that he was not going to take care of their baby until he can walk and talk but he would provide as many resources as possible for her. They talk about if they would be willing to do that for a man who is rich. They also spoke about what they would do if they had a rich partner that wanted to take care of them and treated them right. Would they be okay with that.   During Girl Talk, Jerrilyn and Lynee got some advice from Zuri about the bedroom. They spoke about being able to tell your partner what you like in the bedroom. What is the best way to handle a situation like that. Jerrilyn then spoke to Zuri Pryor-Graves about her jobs as a sex therapist and intimacy coordinator. Hendrix said she started getting death threats and must move so now she has raised over a half a million dollars through crowd funding. He raised his stepdaughter since she was two years old but among the eight tickets, he could not get one. Jerrilyn and Lynee also talked about Cardi B and Offset divorce playing out on social media. Offset wants spousal support and Cardi B wants him to die slow and is showing off her new relationship with Stefon Diggs.   Jerrilyn and Lynee got into some Girl Talk and they spoke about having strained relationships in your family. They spoke about toxic family members that they no longer deal with the way they once did. This led to the host talking about Nikolas McKnight passing away from his battle with cancer. He is the son of Brian McKnight, but they also did not speak before he passed according to sources close to the family. Kid Cudi finally took the stand, and he spoke about many of the things that Cassie spoke about during her testimony. This led the host to talk about how someone can put their trust in someone who does not have their best interest at heart. Jerrilyn and Lynee’ then spoke about wanting Remy Ma and Papoose to keep their private life off of the internet. They think it just has become too much and that the public should not know all these things about their relationship.   During Girl Talk, Lynee’ and Jerrilyn spoke about being the “auntie” at the cookout. They are no longer bringing paper plates and alcohol; they have to make the potato salad. Then the conversation transitioned to single women home ownership. They then spoke about single women and how they own homes more than single men. Jerrilyn and Lynee’ spoke about reasons why they think that it is happening.
