A return to a Blues With A Feeling tradition this week with a Live Focus.

This week, featuring the phenomenally talented singer and guitarist Ray Beadle Live at The Brass Monkey hotel in Sydney.

The latest release in an amazingly fertile period for Ray, the band features Clayton Doley on keys and a wonderful horn section laying the perfect platform for Beadle to work his magic on the Brass Monkey stage.

Plus new songs from Shemekia Copeland, Bonnie Raitt, Ann Peebles and  Janiva Magness.

Its 30 years since Clarence Gatemouth Brown went into the studio to record this classic 1994 Verve Records release and I’m throwing a blues part to celebrate. Plus new releases from Jon Cleary, Rick Estrin & the Nightcats and Cedric Burnside.

Mooney's voice and guitar, both quivering, conjure up the image of a lost soul at a Delta crossroads at midnight; his shadowy bass- and-drum rhythm section evokes the ominous powers of voodoo.”
