The host of the EMMY award winning “Dr. Oz Show” Dr. Mehmet Oz joined the big show this morning to give us an update on COVID-19.

When it comes to a vaccine, Dr. Oz expects an announcement to be made within the next few weeks, but he warns us this will not be an instant “get back to normal” announcement.

“This vaccine is not going to allow you to go back and do whatever you want to do” he says, “we’re not out of this for another year.”

When it comes to us dealing with another year of this situation, Dr. Oz hopes to see better from us, saying “we don’t want Covid fatigue causing Justin Turner-like syndromes where you’re jumping up on the field.”

While he wants us to be cautious, he also does not want people to stop doing certain activities.

“I don’t think we should cancel Halloween and I don’t think we should cancel Thanksgiving” he says, “if we take away holidays people are going start cheating, they’re not going to be able to deal with another year of this.”
