SNL in 1995 was the closest the show ever came to cancellation. Mad TV launched the same year. Mike Myers walked out the door. And somehow that season is still the one everyone calls the golden era.

Chemistry cannot be manufactured. AI cannot create it. The people who had it learned it from the generation before them, and Ed Conroy is not sure who is learning it now.
