The moment of farthest human travel from Earth in recorded history was called in both directions by Canadians. Kris Abel says that was not designed. It landed that way.

 

What does it take to watch a Bond film differently after holding a prop replica? Factory Entertainment released a recreation of the Thunderball pocket air supply, the tiny scuba device Q designed to fit in a cigar tube. It does not actually deliver oxygen. What it does is make the underwater action sequences in that film look completely different once you understand that Sean Connery had nothing real in his mouth and was holding his breath anyway.
