Garbage trucks, moving vans and Halloween candy have Bob Addison keeping a neighbourhood grievance list. If you’ve ever listened to a driver lean on the horn instead of sorting out a blockage, his morning outside the window will sound familiar.

Three kinds of work vehicles arrive on roads barely wide enough for two cars. Bob has a scheduling solution, a theory about how the drivers should communicate and a precise account of how long the honking lasted. Which part would try your patience first?

His Halloween visitors and hockey schedule get their own hearings too. What does an adult trick-or-treater actually receive, and how does a question about buying a pickup bring the conversation back to that narrow road? Bob supplies the connections.

Topics: neighbourhood gridlock, garbage trucks, Halloween candy, adult trick-or-treaters, hockey schedules
