Kurt Schlichter, retired Army Colonel, trial attorney, senior columnist at Townhall.com, and author of the newly-released America Warlord, available for purchase now, discusses the catastrophic Republican performance in the 2026 midterm elections and the Democrats that won across the board all over the nation. He discusses the renewed importance for the Republican Party of connecting with ordinary Americans and the need for the party to focus on its core values. The conversation also touches on the role of the Bush dynasty and their impact on the party, as well as the rise of new Republican  politicians like Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and Secretary of State Marco Rubio as future presidential contenders. Seth and Kurt also discuss the challenges facing the Democratic Party, including their increasingly radical stance and the potential for a backlash from voters. They explore the idea that the Democrats may not learn from their mistakes and instead continue down a path of socialism and division.
