Scottsdale Unified Governing Board Member Amy Carney joins the show by phone to talk about her re-election campaign. Amy is fighting to preserve neighborhood schools and provide students with the resources they need to succeed. She emphasizes the need for school boards to be open-minded and willing to try new solutions, rather than simply cutting staff or closing schools.
