Seth continues his discussion about the violent protests and riots in France right now, comparing what is happening in the French Republic to the danger of the Democratic Party in the United States. He discusses the various organizations involved in the French riots, including the "Gilets Jaunes" Yellow Vest movement, and the "Ligue des Droits de l'Homme" Human Rights League. He highlights the similarities between these groups and the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), pointing out that the DSA's leadership and caucuses reveal a voice that is often at odds with the values of democracy. We’re joined by Don Spini from Sun Valley Wealth. Scottsdale Unified Governing Board Member Amy Carney joins the show by phone to talk about her re-election campaign. Amy is fighting to preserve neighborhood schools and provide students with the resources they need to succeed. She emphasizes the need for school boards to be open-minded and willing to try new solutions, rather than simply cutting staff or closing schools.
