Jovan Pavasović BArch, BSc(Arch) is a successful business owner being the Proprietor of “Bonnyrigg Garden Centre” Est. 1965, has previously served as a Councillor at Fairfield City Council (1991 to 1995), is a Trustee of the “Movement of Serbian Chetniks Ravna Gora (Land Holding) Pty Ltd”, is a Director of the “Movement of Serbian Chetniks Ravna Gora in Australia Ltd” and long-term President of Pokret Srpskih Četnika Ravne Gore Bonnyrigg.

Pokret was established in Sydney during the early 1950s by post-war immigrants and veterans, to preserve the traditions and history of World War II resistance fighters, led by General Dragoljub (Draža) Mihailović.  Pokret has been integral to the many successes of the Bonnyrigg Sports Club (Serbian Centre Club Limited) including the upcoming 38th Serbian Folkloric Festival being held 7-9 August 2026.
