Rome police say 31-year-old Michael J. Brown was found dead Wednesday morning, April 1, in a wooded area near Railroad Street with a puncture wound to the chest, and his death has been ruled a homicide. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are asking anyone with information to contact police or Mohawk Valley Crime Stoppers.
