In this bonus episode of Selective Ignorance, Mandii B, A-King, and Jason “Jah” Lee tackle the everyday audacity of living in America[00:00], from rising costs and entitlement [00:52] to outrageous flight prices [01:25] and the financial realities of putting just $10 of gas in the tank [01:52]. The crew debates airplane seat switching[03:21], middle-seat etiquette [04:45], and whether passengers with children and strollers deserve special consideration [06:24], with some condom talk and city-life observations along the way [07:39]. They revisit airline upgrades and passenger courtesy [08:35] before calling out aggressive drivers [10:49] and parking-spot confrontations [12:32]. The conversation shifts to restaurant service and tipping culture, comparing dining experiences in Paris and Atlanta [14:14], including a frustrating visit to Steak Market 44 where a 20% service charge wasn't considered a tip [16:06]. They question whether tipping expectations have gotten out of control [20:36], especially with QR-code ordering and limited customer service [21:48], before discussing streaming subscription price increases[23:28], unexpected Apple charges and refunds [25:20], and a reported Gmail data lawsuit[25:43].

The discussion takes a more serious turn as the crew reacts to Palantir's sponsorship of Congressional Black Caucus events despite controversy surrounding the company's connections to ICE and government surveillance [26:59]. They debate corporate sponsorship, boycotts, financial influence, and moral accountability, questioning where organizations and consumers should draw the line when money conflicts with their values [29:34]. From there, they react to Shaquille O'Neal's honorary FBI recognition and what it means for his public image [34:18], before examining how surveillance cameras, social media, and self-snitching are exposing rappers involved in street activity [47:36]. The crew explores the dangers of chasing street credibility, online validation, and surrounding yourself with people who reinforce destructive behavior [50:13], then questions the role of OGs, mentorship, and generational accountability in hip-hop[53:07] before closing out another entertaining and thought-provoking bonus episode [54:41].
