On this episode of the Seeing Eye Dogs Show, Harriet talks to training dog carer volunteer Fabien. Fabien, along with his wife and son, are carers for dogs during their formal training. They work as a team to give a loving and restful home to dogs (often multiple at the same time!) during training and before being placed with a client. Fabien shares his story, love for labs, fitting in caring with work and family life, and experiences as a carer. We love our volunteer community and are appreciative of their work making our mission possible at Seeing Eye Dogs.
We’re looking for lots of types of carers currently including training dog carers local to SED Kensington site. Head to the training dog care page of our website to find out about training dog care or to the volunteering page to read about all volunteer roles.
