Breeder carers care for the dogs in their homes full-time, and transport the dog to the Seeing Eye Dogs kennel facility in Kensington, VIC for breeding activities. These dogs are over 1 year old accepted into the breeding colony selected for their lovely natures and maintain their manners during their time in the breeding program. Seeing Eye Dogs Show, by Vision Australia Radio

From its inception in 1960, Seeing Eye Dogs, a division of Vision Australia, has remained a user-driven organisation. The attention, care and involvement we give to each of our clients are what make us different.

Our training is entirely one on one; it is not based on a prescriptive group or set training approach. This clearly underpins our belief in putting the client first.

Mission

The mission of Seeing Eye Dogs, a division of Vision Australia is:

To enhance the mobility and independence of people who are blind or have low vision throughout Australia by providing Seeing Eye Dogs, mobility training and rehabilitation services.
