Jen and Nellie on SED Bay of Fires Adventure, vet tips

View descriptionShare

On this episode of the Seeing Eye Dogs Show we have two interviews for you:

  • The first is with Jen Nickols where we will talk about the Bay of Fires Adventure and the training and preparation she and her Seeing Eye Dog Nellie are doing to get ready for November's trek. We're going to talk about her connection to Seeing Eye Dogs as a handler, and motivation to raise funds. To find their fundraising page to make a donation to Seeing Eye Dogs head to the Seeing Eye Dogs website news article or head directly to their fundraising page.
  • The second interview is a repeat of some vet tips from Seeing Eye Dogs veterinary and reproduction manager Dr Nicola Cotton. We're going to be chatting about looking after your dogs ears and how to prevent infections, or notice medical issues.

If you'd like to find out more about Seeing Eye Dogs head to our website: https://sed.visionaustralia.org/

We are looking for puppy carers now so if you're keen to raise a puppy to hopefully become a Seeing Eye Dog we'd like to hear from you! If you live in the North Brisbane or Sunshine Coast regions of Queensland or Victoria in Geelong, Bendigo and select areas of metro Melbourne (listed on our Website) get in touch to find out about volunteering with us or apply now via our website.
