ICE officials in the Pacific Northwest are pointing to a Bellevue murder as one example of why local law enforcement officials should cooperate with them. One of the four suspects is in the country illegally and ICE had previously requested that police hold the young man in custody for them to pick up -- these detainers were ignored due to sanctuary policies. The man went on to commit more crimes and is now suspected of murder.
