Next, Friday was May Day across the US, and here in Seattle, a march and rally started at Cal Anderson park. On hand was a new group called the Seattle Singing Resistance… inspired by the anti-ICE movement in Minnesota. 

And finally, a story from the city of Battle Ground in southern Washington…

A social studies teacher at Battle Ground High School was suspended eight months ago for what she said at a politically charged time, and she’s still working to be allowed back in the classroom.
