Today, we’re bringing you the best from the KUOW Newsroom.

While the U.S. and Iran are attempting to negotiate an end to the U.S. led war, the Iranian men’s national soccer team is scheduled to travel to Seattle next week for the World Cup. They will face off against Egypt in their final match in the group stage. Just blocks from where the teams will play, an exhibit by an Iranian artist examines the idea of freedom for women in her country. KUOW’s Ayeda Masood has the story.
