Last week’s back-to-back wind storms are a reminder that bad weather around here can sometimes mean days without power, or snow and ice that traps people in their homes and upends supply chains. 

It pays to be prepared. A lot of us are not. 

Susanna Trimarco, the Public Outreach and Education Coordinator for King County’s office of Emergency Management, is here to help us get started.
