You may know him as the former King County Sheriff, or maybe as a member of Congress. But Reichert may be best known for his work catching one of the nation’s most prolific serial killers.

KUOW Investigative Reporter Ashley Hiruko spoke to Reichert about his multi-decade effort to catch the Green River Killer, and how he’s using that experience as his pitch to be Washington’s next governor.
