Seahawks defensive tackle Leonard Williams shares his excitement about adding guard Quenton Nelson to the team while offering veteran advice to both Quenton Nelson and guard Anthony Bradford about navigating the business side of the NFL. (00:46) Drawing from his own past mid-season trades, Leonard Williams emphasizes the importance of focusing on what a player can control, such as attitude, mindset, and work ethic, during transitions to a new organization (02:04). (04:14) Looking ahead to the upcoming matchup against the Chicago Bears, Leonard Williams highlights the challenge of stopping their top-ranked, full-team rushing attack and fast-paced offense that utilizes frequent pre-snap motions (04:53). (05:25) He also praises the Seattle Seahawks' welcoming, family-oriented culture and credits the organization, including Head Coach Mike Macdonald and recent acquisitions like linebacker Ernest Jones IV, wide receiver Rashid Shaheed, and guard Quenton Nelson, for constantly "chasing edges" to win, while noting the defense's third-down mentality is to "earn the right to rush" (06:13, 07:13, 08:18).
