Martien is a cancer survivor and dad of a twelve year old, who's very concerned - along with the rest of the town - that Lake Cowichan may end up with no medical services soon, after one of their two doctors retires and the other one moves. Martien will be at the Lake Cowichan council meeting today to express his concerns; that meeting begins at 5pm and will be available via the council's YouTube channel.
