A gentleman wanted an opinon on his severance package.  He was with a company for over 30 years.  He was let go and offered 17 months of pay as a lump sum payment.  He was happy with the offer but wanted to have our lawyers review just in case. His severance offer was, however, missing everything else that didn’t fall into base salary, bonus, commission, mileage, and car allowance were all a part of his regular pay but hadn’t been factored into the termination.
