Ontario Labour Minister Kevin Flynn joined Employment Lawyer Lior Samfiru on The Employment Hour to talk about Bill 148 (aka Fair Workplaces, Better Jobs Act, 2017) and the changes coming to the Employment Standards Act and workplaces on January 1st, 2018.

Employers will have to pay casual, part-time, seasonal and temporary workers at the same rate as full-time employees doing the same job. Will this prevent employers from rewarding good performance?
