640 Toronto - B.C. woman caught in racist rant at Lethbridge Denny's rehired

View descriptionShare

The Cranbrook woman fired from her job after a racially charged rant in a Lethbridge Denny’s went viral has been rehired, Postmedia has learned.

Kelly Pocha was let go from her position at Cranbrook Dodge after a video of her telling a group of Afghan-Canadians to “Go back to your (expletive) country” made the rounds on social media in May.

Gurlal Kler, employment lawyer and partner at Samfiru Tumarkin LLP, joined host Kelly Cutrara on Global News Radio 640 Toronto to delve into the true definition and legalities surrounding a "for cause" termination, and why Cranbrook Dodge may have decided to rehire Pocha.
