Guest: Tumisang Sikhosana – Founder of Dlalisa Moyeni Foundation
Dlalisa Moyeni Foundation was founded by Mr and Mrs Skosana, in memory of Mr Skosana’s late father. After losing his father at a tender age, Mr Skosana struggled to navigate life without the voice of a father and had to source this from community leaders such as pastors, coaches etc. This is when he noticed a gap for the boy child to be heard.
Dlalisa currently operates as a safe space for young boys yearning for a father figure voice. The organisation deals with boys from broken homes, boys with no identity – no identification documents, single headed families. Yearly, we take in boys from local high schools and put them in a program that aims to link them with mentors, coaches and teachers that equip boys with life skills. It takes a village to raise a child, we’d like to join hands with you as we change lives, one boy at a time.
