That was Former Zambian President Kenneth Kaunda singing his popular signature song Tiyende Pamodzi, which he used to rally support for the liberation of Southern Africa. On this day, the 22nd of January 1964 Kenneth Kaunda was sworn in as the first Prime Minister of Northern Rhodesia which is now Zambia. Two days later, Zambia gained independence from Britain (National Day).
