M23 rebels expel civilians to Rwanda

Thousands of people believed to be illegals from Rwanda were expelled by the M23 from the key major town of Goma on Saturday.

Kenya's ex-justice minister, politician and human rights lawyer Martha Karua has been 'deported' from Tanzania after length interrogation for several hours by Tanzanian authorities.

President Ramaphosa to Undertake Working Visit to the U.S.

President Cyril Ramaphosa will undertake a working visit to the United States of America from 19 to 22 May 2025, the Presidency has announced.

In our historical archives, it was on this day 19 May 1925 when Malcolm Little was born in Omaha, Nebraska, the fourth of seven children of Grenada-born Louise Helen Little (née Langdon) and Georgia-born Earl Little. Earl was an outspoken Baptist lay speaker, and he and Louise were admirers of Pan-African activist Marcus Garvey.
