The militant group, I.S has formally claimed responsibility for the deadly attack on the gas town of Palma in northern Mozambique in which dozens of people including a South African were killed last week. The group made the claim on its Amaq news agency, saying it taken control of the town after days of clashes with security forces. It claims that at least 55 people were killed including soldiers and that buildings were destroyed and vehicles seized.
