World would faces chaos without international law adherence.

The Madlanga Commission of Inquiry has adjourned for today and will resume on Wednesday morning. North West Businessman Brown Mogotsi, was today expected back on the stand,but failed to appear, citing illness. Evidence leader Advocate Matthew Chaskalson told the commission a medical certificate is expected by end of day. Chairperson Justice Mbuyiseli Madlanga declared Mogotsi in contempt for now and indicated the commission may initiate legal proceedings but any consequences will be addressed on Wednesday once the certificate is reviewed. This comes as the inquiry races toward its March 17 deadline to wrap up its probe into criminality and corruption in the justice system. The Hawks' National Serious Corruption Investigation Unit has arrested three suspects from the Health Department this morning. The suspects have been arrested on charges of fraud and theft. The three are set to appear in the Pretoria Specialised Commercial Crimes Court today. Sakina Kamwendo spoke to Hawks National Spokesperson, Colonel Katlego Mogale....

Justice and Constitutional Development Minister, Mmamoloko Kubayi will lead the national launch of the 30-year anniversary of the Constitution's signing into law today. The event, held at Johannesburg's Apartheid Museum, will also launch Human Rights Month, themed "The Bill of Rights at 30: Making Human Dignity Real". The Constitution, which has been in effect since February 1997, reinforces South Africa's democracy, marking three decades of progress.
