Twenty-nine suspects in court for vandalism following lootings sparked by hospitalisation of Manguang learners

Close to thirty people that were arrested for public violence after looting spaza shops belonging to foreign nationals are set to appear before the Bloemfontein Magistrate's court today. Residents of Manguang went on a rampage after learners from Ihobe Primary School fell ill and were transported to local health care facilities. The learners had consumed suspected poisoned snacks and sweets. Sakina Kamwendo spoke to SABC reporter, Makgala Masiteng.
