Police say a person of interest has been identified in connection with the murder of a 23-year-old woman in Tembisa. She was shot at around 5:45 this morning while reportedly on her way to work, with her belongings taken. Police are treating the case as murder and robbery and are tracing the person of interest. Gauteng police are investigating a murder and robbery after a 23-year-old woman was shot and killed in Thembisa this morning. The woman was reportedly walking to work in Temong, Mapungubwe Street, at around 5:45 when she was attacked and her belongings stolen. Police say her family has yet to be formally notified. Preliminary investigations have found no link between the murder and recent cases involving women whose bodies were found in Ekurhuleni.
