MEC of Finance and Economic Development Lebogang Maile together with representatives from the professional services firm Ernst and Young are today releasing the findings of the first ever Gauteng Municipal Economic Review and Outlook (MERO). The study is said to be an intelligence publication that is aimed at informing integrated planning, spatial frameworks, economic development strategies and budgets in local government.
