Temperatures have drastically dropped in some parts of the country. This follows the South African Weather Service's (SAWS) forecast which has revealed scattered showers in areas including Gauteng, Mpumalanga, and parts of KwaZulu-Natal. The Western Cape Mobility Department has also urged all road users to exercise extreme caution. It has predicted heavy rainfall which may result in flooding as well as strong winds in several areas. This week's severe weather conditions may also lead to
reduced visibility, waterlogged surfaces, flooding in low-lying and submerging of bridges. South African Weather Service's forecaster Lehlohonolo Thobela gives us the update
