Authorities in the Eastern Cape have recovered the minibus taxi that was carrying the ten missing learners in the Mthatha region in the eastern Cape.  The minibus taxi was swept into a river in Decoligny yesterday following floods that heavy rain caused in the province. Environment Minister, Willie Aucamp has decided to push ahead and rule on appeals against environmental authorisations for key offshore oil and gas exploration projects. The decision comes against a backdrop of sharply rising global oil prices fueled by ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
