The High Court in Pretoria has ruled that the Zambian government is entitled to repatriate the body of the late president Edgar Lungu for a state funeral and burial in Lusaka. Lungu passed on in June while receiving medical treatment in Johannesburg South Africa. His family had initially agreed with the Zambian government to have him buried back on his homeland but retracted at the last minute and wanted to have him buried in South African in a private ceremony.
