Ramokgopa unveils R2.6 trillion electricity projects to Chinese investors.

It's day two of the South Africa–China Electricity and Energy Investment Conference in Beijing, China. The visit is led by Electricity and Energy Minister Kgosientsho Ramokgopa. South Africa is intensifying efforts to secure Chinese investment for critical energy infrastructure. Government says six Chinese companies have committed to investing in local energy projects. The conference is also advancing cooperation on nuclear waste management, while the Industrial Development Corporation says partnerships with investors will strengthen industrial capacity, create jobs, and accelerate the country's energy transition.  Sakina Kamwendo spoke to Electricity and Energy Minister Kgosientsho Ramokgopa is joining from in Beijing, China
