The Economic Freedom Fighters, EFF say the government's decision to pull back proposed changes to the National Credit Act came straight from weeks of public pushback. The Department of Trade, Industry and Competition has withdrawn the amendment regulations amid widespread criticism that they would hit low-income families and young people hardest with tighter credit rules.
