There continues to be outcry over the death of a medical intern doctor, Alulutho Mazwi from the Prince Mshiyeni Memorial Hospital. The twenty-five year old dies on Monday last week at the hospital in Umlazi, south of Durban. It is alleged that his supervisor forced him to continue with his work duties after he had reported not feeling well. The health department has since placed the supervisor of precautionary leave pending an investigation. The Health Ombudsman has also initiated its own investigation into the matter. Sakina Kamwendo spoke to SABC reporter, Nonjabulo Makamu.
