At least 16 people are reported to have been killed and over 400 others injured, following clashes between police & demonstrators during yesterday's nationwide protests in Kenya. The violence broke out after thousands of Kenyans took to the streets to commemorate last year's demonstrations, in which more than 60 people died, with police firing tear gas and water cannons to disperse the crowds in the capital of Nairobi.
