Concerns are mounting over the growing issue of unemployed doctors who have completed their community service but remain without placements. The South African Medical Association (SAMA) has raised the alarm, reporting that 1,800 doctors nationwide are left in limbo. To address this crisis, SAMA has initiated a survey to assess its scope and is calling on the government to create job opportunities, boost healthcare funding, and implement long-term solutions.
