The case against a Gauteng woman believed to be part of a syndicate targeting young female professionals is expected to resume in the Springs Magistrate's Court today. Police say the syndicate kidnaps the women and robs them off their belongings, before setting them free. Recently SABC NEWS reported on two cases in which young women were taken out on dates by an alleged scammer, who allegedly used a female accomplice to lure the women into a false sense of security.
