The City of Cape Town says it is working with the South African Police Service (SAPS) to clamp down on gangs and extortion-related crimes on the Cape Flats. This follows a brutal mass shooting incident in the Kanana Informal Settlement in Gugulethu where seven men were shot and killed in the early hours of Saturday morning. The victims, aged between 26 and 30 were socializing in the kitchen when they were ambushed by unknown assailants. Police say investigations are underway to establish the possibility that the incident is linked to gang and extortion. We spoke to our reporter Andile Mbanjwa reports....
