Trade Union Solidarity says FlySafair could have averted the cancellation of numerous flights today if the airline had come to the negotiating table this past weekend. The union says the strike which was initially planned for only one day has been extended to 14-days after FlySafair decided to lock out the striking pilots for an extended period. Solidarity has rejected FlySafair's 5.7% offer and is demanding ten-point-five percent for the 2025-26 financial year.
