The official National Youth Day celebrations have kicked off in Potchefstroom where Deputy President, Paul Mashatile is expected to deliver the keynote address. Young people in attendance have called on government to create platforms where they could exhibit their artistic work. In attendance at this event is the Sports, Arts and culture Minister, Gayton McKenzie, Energy Minister Dr Kgosientsho Ramokgopa including Transport Minister, Barbara Creecy and Deputy Minister in the Presidency, Nonceba Mhlauli amongst others.
