The National Financial Ombud Scheme has sent out a warning following a spike in fraudulent transactions due to the ease of use of tap-and-go bank cards.  The Scheme's bank division is now asking bank card users to be vigilant as fraudsters may try to use the tap-and-go function on cards and phones to make unauthorised transactions. South African National Defence Force troops and police are continuing with crime fighting operation in Gqeberha in the Eastern Cape. The Limpopo Premier Dr Phophi Ramathuba has conveyed her condolences to the bereaved family of the twins born attached to the abdomen in January. One of the twins has died. A surgical procedure to separate them was conducted by a team of surgeons more than two weeks ago. Ramathuba says there had been hope that the children would grow up and thrive.
